Graduate and Credential Admission Requirements
For Domestic Students:
A complete application to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ contains:
Step 1: Submit Application (Application Fee $60)
Step 2: Upload all required documents to the online application portal
Review program-specific requirements in the University Catalog
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended sent directly to transcripts@ndnu.edu by the issuing institution or its authorized transcript service.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (minimum GPA 2.5; MA Educational Therapy: 3.0).
- Current résumé.
- Two letters of recommendation required for most programs. (School of Psychology programs do not require letters of recommendation.)
- School of Psychology programs require two professional references (name, relationship/title, email, phone) in place of letters.
- Interview may be waived at the discretion of the School's Dean or Program Director.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and/or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is not required.
For Undocumented Students
ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ welcomes and treats undocumented students as US domestic students in the admission process. The eligibility for ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ scholarship funds will be determined based on individual financial circumstances. Students may contact the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Office of Financial Aid at finaid@ndnu.edu or at (650) 508-3441 for more information.
For International Students
International students are individuals who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who require a visa to attend ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.

Step 1: , create an account and review your programs’ required documents checklist and pay your $60 application fee
Step 2: Upload required admissions documents to your application portal
Step 3: Attend your admissions interview, if applicable for your program

Step 4: If admitted, pay your $850 deposit to secure your seat in the class
Step 5: Upload required F-1 documents into your application portal
- Proof of English Language Proficiency for students from non English-speaking countries or whose highest level of education is from a non English-speaking country. See links below:
- International Certificate of Finances
- Bank Statement dated within 6 months of program start showing appropriate US funds as listed on the Certificate of Finances form
- Submit an official course-by-course transcript evaluation by a credential evaluator.
5. Copy of original transcripts showing an earned bachelor’s degree

Step 6: Once all documents are received, your DSO will issue you an I-20. Please inform your DSO of your visa appointment date.
Step 7: Provide an update to your DSO as to the outcome of your visa appointment
- Students should plan to meet with their DSO on campus 10 days prior to the start of classes.
- ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in Belmont, CA, does not offer on-campus housing but provides resources for off-campus options. Students can access housing search websites, local transportation information, and support from the Diversity Residence Life Coordinator to find suitable accommodations near campus. - Schedule meeting with your academic adviser to register for classes
Step 8: Inform your DSO of any changes to your name or address within 10 days of change
Degree Completion Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program in Business Administration
A minimum of 45 transferrable units (75 unit maximum), with a GPA of 2.0 or higher, and completion of the five prerequisites with a grade of C or higher:

Intro to Accounting (3 units), Economics (3 units), Intro to Statistics (3 units), Calculus I or Math for Business Majors (3 units)
Required application materials: A complete application is the online ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ application, official transcripts from every school or university attended, a professional resume or personal statement. Two letters of recommendation are optional.
Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program in Psychology
A minimum of 45 transferrable units (78 unit maximum), with a GPA of 2.0 or higher, and completion of one prerequisite with a grade of C or higher:
